My B-tech year 2015

Halooo..
My name is Rona-Celia Meyer and I am doing my B-tech in Interior Design at NMMU. The year is about discovering yourself, or that is how it feels to me. Designing something you like and doing it for a year can be challenging, but if it is something you love - it will always be worth it!

I am designing an Alzheimer's home, because I am a family orientated person and love to help people. Everything about people draws me in.. I hope to design a space where Alzheimer patients can be free to explore new things and create the optimal living environment...

Here is my process throughout the year...

My first space planning crit...

Space planning for a medical facility is very tricky, because spesific guidelines need to be followed.. which is good to work with because you basically have a checklist of what must be in your space. The thing is I also love abstract design, and the question was how to implement this into my space as well... Luckily i stumbled upon an interesting theory which is a Snoezelen Room... ill explain later...

Sooooo... the pencil marks, yeah that's whats happening...:)
