Computers Video

Our biggest project for computers this semester is to create a video which basically captures your whole years work with regards to the identity of the space to the final design... The idea is to give the lecturers and moderators a feel of your space...

I am busy designing the intro part of my video now, which is actually very exciting because one can do whatever you want and make stuff move! haha... i will post my final video as soon as it is done. :)

The FINAL month

Final Thesis Hand In...

On Friday we had our final thesis hand in, it was one intense week! but we go it done! and now we are in our final month of studying! scary feeling... the next subject that we have to submit is computers  - our first animation and a document on indesign... then it is technology which is the most nerve wrecking of all of them....

Technical crits

We had the privilege to visit the South African institute of heritage and science conservation on Tuesday and Wednesday... The place is brilliant, with a spectacular atmosphere as well as people! We stayed in an old heritage house on a farm and enjoyed the outdoors...

First Reunion 2016

Our first reunion for 2016 is at Mumford and Sons! we got tickets Wednesday morning and road tripping down to the lovely city, Cape Town... excited already!!

Mini Break...

Last, like last break-holiday ever for my life as a student... then i am done... next holiday is December! ... 83 days left!

but work, work... we are close to the end...

Some excitement in our lives!

On Wednesday we decided for a break to go watch the second half of the club rugby, and in my pantoffels i kicked the ball into a square box and won R1000! hahaha.... was such a cool experience! highlight of the week...

We are busy working on our final layouts for our thesis, which is due on the 21st of August, an animation for computers of the exterior of our building, technical resolution of our design and detail design of your unique areas in your space... uhhh is that ALL?

Product Design

We got our brief for our product design and we actually need to manufacture one product as if the product can be in an actual shop... The two products I am thinking of is a light and a multi-functional walking trolley type of piece that will help with the balance of the Alzheimer patients. Conceptual sketches and design ideas will follow soon:)

Final Stretch...

It is our final semester now. mixed emotions. We literally have 4 months left till we are done with BTECH... the 25th of November is our final exam date ... let the final countdown begin...
